Catalina Noreña has been promoted to partner in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice area. Catalina has more than 10 years of experience advising on major corporate and M&A transactions. Her experience at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and her academic training at the Universidad de los Andes and the University of Chicago, where she obtained her Master of Laws degree, highlight her preparation and commitment to corporate law.
Daniela Corchuelo has been promoted to partner in the Dispute Resolution area. Daniela has distinguished herself for her vast experience in national and international arbitration, as well as in the prevention and resolution of disputes in key sectors such as construction and infrastructure. Her professional career includes international experience in Switzerland and her role as lecturer and researcher at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. She is also an active member of ALARB and the ADR Arbitration Commission of ICC Colombia. Daniela is a graduate of the Universidad Externado de Colombia and holds an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution from the University of Geneva and Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
Juan José Huertas has been promoted to partner in the areas of Financial Law and Capital Markets. With more than 11 years of experience, Juan José has led complex cross-border and domestic financial and corporate transactions in sectors such as energy, infrastructure and telecommunications. His background includes more than six years at international firms in New York, such as Jones Day and Milbank LLP, and his MBA degree with honors from Columbia University.
