PATRIA INVESTMENTS ACQUIRES CONSTRUCTORA MECO’S STAKE IN CONCESIÓN PACÃFICO TRES.
Constructora Meco S.A. has sought legal counsel from Posse Herrera Ruiz to sell its 26% stake in Concesión PacÃfico Tres S.A.S. to Patria Investments. The transaction has been signed, and its closing is subject to customary conditions for these types of transactions, including government and lenders required authorizations.
Concesión PacÃfico Tres S.A.S. is responsible for executing the 4G infrastructure project granted under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme by the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI).
The Concesión PacÃfico Tres project, part of the first wave of Colombia’s 4G infrastructure projects, aims to improve and construct new roads spanning 146 kilometers across three departments: Caldas, Risaralda, and Antioquia, impacting 19 municipalities. Additionally, Concesión PacÃfico Tres aims to connect the Port of Buenaventura and the Caribbean to the production centers of Antioquia and the Coffee Region of Colombia, enhancing roads and connectivity. This will result in cost, time, and distance savings for travelers and transporters.
