Latin Lawyer announced the second of two winners of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Awards: Mariana Posse of Colombian firm Posse Herrera Ruiz.
The esteemed Colombian lawyer stands out as one of the few women to have co-founded a major law firm in Latin America, challenging stereotypes and redefining the role women can play in the historically male-dominated legal sector. Mariana Posse retired from the firm at the end of 2024, leaving behind a legacy of strong leadership and inspiring a new generation of women to follow in her footsteps.
