Law firm Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa welcomes Humberto Pérez-Rocha Ituarte as a partner in the Corporate, Banking and Finance, and Insurance areas in Mexico.
Humberto graduated with a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana. He worked as a foreign associate at the firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in the New York office. He was a partner for over 30 years at Galicia Abogados.
He has advised commercial banks and other financial institutions, strategic investors, and companies in a variety of financing operations, including syndicated loans, acquisition financings, bridge loans, asset-based loans, infrastructure project financing, and financial restructurings.
Humberto has extensive experience in corporate transactions and regulatory issues for banks, pension funds, insurance, and reinsurance institutions. He also actively participates in infrastructure transactions in Mexico, advising private entities participating in public tenders and in the structuring and financing of infrastructure projects such as roads, airports, and ports.
Additionally, he advises buyers and sellers, both public and private, as well as private equity firms and investment banks in a variety of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other corporate matters.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized by important publications such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500.
