In early March 2023, the European Chinese Lawyers Association (ACLE) held its annual member meeting and a themed seminar titled “Legal Challenges for Chinese Companies in Europe in the New Era” in Zurich, Switzerland, celebrating the 10th anniversary of ACLE’s establishment.
At the member meeting, our colleague and attorney Shiyang Zhang was elected a new director of ACLE’s board. Congratulations to Shiyang and to ACLE’s 10th anniversary!
During the themed seminar, a dozen of experts and senior-ranked managers of renowned law offices and companies, including Bär & Karrer, QS Funds, Zhong Lun Law Firm, IPG Howden, UBS, Henley & Partners – The Firm of Global Citizens®, Niederer Kraft Frey, China Construction Bank (Asia), MP Attorneys – Meissner & Passin, SBS Ecoclean Group, HAUCK AUFHÄUSER LAMPE and Air China), shared their ample practical experience in legal, business and asset management, ESG/compliance practices for companies in Europe, as well as post-merger/acquisition integration related to Chinese investment in Europe.
On PRK’s behalf, Shiyang gave a presentation on Chinese investments in the Czech Republic and shared his experience with the latest Czech FDI screening regime.
