Eugene Polyak is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP.  Gene specializes in drafting and negotiating design and construction contracts on behalf of owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects/engineers, and consultants. Gene provides advice during ongoing construction projects, and serves as counsel in the development, prosecution, and defense of construction-related claims. Gene’s extensive litigation experience also includes mortgage repurchase litigation, commercial foreclosures, business torts, landlord-tenant disputes, employment disputes, and antitrust.
I always prioritize my clients’ bottom line. I strive to solve difficult problems in both transaction negotiations and in litigation by helping clients remove emotion from the equation so we can reach practical, budget-friendly resolutions.
