Humberto is a distinguished lawyer with more than 30 years of experience advising banks, financial institutions, strategic investors and companies in financing operations, including syndicated loans, acquisition financing, bridge loans, asset-based loans, infrastructure project financing and financial restructuring.
He also has extensive experience in corporate transactions and regulatory matters involving banks, pension funds, insurance and reinsurance institutions. His experience also includes infrastructure transactions in Mexico, advising private entities participating in public tenders and in the structuring and financing of projects such as highways, airports and ports.
Humberto also advises both public and private companies, as well as private equity firms and investment banks on a variety of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and other corporate matters.
Furthermore, throughout his career, he has distinguished himself for his commitment to Pro Bono activities, collaborating as a member of the Mexican Pro Bono Center and Appleseed Mexico.
Humberto joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in August 2024 as a Partner.
