Azurduy Law, which Indacochea incorporated in June, advised the seller.
The deal was announced on 23 July for an undisclosed amount.
Through the acquisition, MultiCenter will gain a presence in two major Bolivian cities – La Paz and Cochabamba. The buyer intends to expand Home Center’s product portfolio by incorporating its own offering, while giving customers access to its e-commerce channel through its digital credit card.
Founded in 1991, MultiCenter operates two large retail facilities in Santa Cruz, the country’s most populous city. There, it sells a range of good that include homeware, electronics, toys and tools.
Home Center Fácil opened in Cochabamba in 1993 and added its La Paz outlet in 2017.
